Hi! I’m Grace Gearhart, a rising sophomore at Sewanee: The University of the South, where I am a member of the varsity swim team. I am majoring in Biology on the pre-med track. I have been swimming since I was three years old and competing for over 12 years. For the past five years, I have also been coaching and teaching swim lessons, which is something I truly love. I am passionate about sharing my love for swimming and helping others grow in the sport. I especially enjoy working with developing swimmers, helping them build confidence, learn new techniques, and discover their own excitement for swimming. In my free time I love cooking and spending time outside. I’m so excited to get to know everyone this summer and watch each swimmer grow and improve! I am originally from Baltimore, Maryland, but I recently moved and now call Augusta, Georgia home
Hello! I’m Audrey Hammond, and I’ll be a sophomore next year at the University of South Carolina, where I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biology. With that, I am hoping to go into genetic research or a similar career path. I have been swimming competitively for 9 years, and I swam summer league with Hammond Hills for 5 years as well. I have a deep love for swimming as a whole, and I am very excited to share my passion with new and returning swimmers.
In my spare time, I enjoy watercolor painting, going to the beach, and spending time with friends. I have moved around a lot, but I’ve lived in North Augusta for the last 5 years. I’m ready to meet everyone and excited to coach all swimmers!
Genevieve "Evie" has been swimming competitively since the age of 4. She has helped coach the past two years for Riverwood Rapids and Southern Tide Swim Club and is excited to coach this year. Evie has qualified for All Stars every year since the age of 6. She loves coaching and helping swimmers love the sport. She also is a soccer player for Bulls-Rush FC and a swimmer on Southern Tide Swim Club. She will be attending Aquinas beginning this fall as an incoming freshman.
